July Wins

So many things have been happening the last 8 weeks that we've missed posting our wins of the month blog so we're just going to sneak in this one for July before the end of August. July was a massive month for UniPhi with 5 new major projects deployed bring the total infrastructure expenditure that our software is being used to well over the AUD100bn mark.

Use cases for these deployments vary but our project controls and commercial management features are at the heart of most of them. These features include:

  • Timesheets to scheduled tasks with effort estimates assigned
  • Resource plans against these tasks for baselined costs based off contractual rates that can be incredibly complex. (A rate for different locations anyone)
  • % complete stage gated by milestones per task
  • Automated earned value reporting
  • Full transparency invoicing to clients and where relevant, by JV partners
  • EAC reporting to clients and JV partners

For several of our large engineering customers, UniPhi is now the automated go to for the above on any new project which is extremely exciting. We now hope to sell the knowledge and capability to the ultimate clients of these projects, the capable owners. Watch this space.

You can find out more on the features above and our project 13 capability in previous blogs and webinars.

Our UK business has also been settling down to some solid growth with our benchmarking capability being a real hit. UniPhi's building information metrics and formula features enable our clients to construct their own calculations to leverage cost and other building meta data. Workflows that include integration with key cost planning tools, QA processes and smart visualisations through PowerBI means that each cost consultancy can generate their own unique view of the building landscape based off their own valuable IP.

We expect to share a lot more stories coming out of the "mother country" in the coming months.

Not so much a win but a fun event for staff, our resident PhD team member, Katja Heath, took us all for a tour around the NSW art gallery as part of our fortnightly staff events. Leighton's "An athlete wrestling with a python", with the obvious connotations between naked muscular man and a large snake, being a real hit with staff and a conversation starter at drinks later that evening.
